Breakfast is something we all know that we need to consume to be a healthy and maintain proper weight. This has been suggested in the medical research and media for a while now. We all know that oatmeal is a good start to any morning finding the right oatmeal for you is key. If you have little time in the morning you may not want to cook Irish oats which take up to 30mins to cook. If you like a chewy more dense oat then quick oats may not be right for you as well. In my house we generally eat rolled oats but I wanted to share a new cereal product that I have found. I must say that I like a chewy more dense cereal grains. After reading Dr. John McDougall’s book , The Starch Solution

I started looking fro multiple cereal grains for breakfast. Then I found this, Bob’s Red Mill 5 Grain Rolled Cereal.
It has whole grain wheat, oatmeal, rye, barley, and flaxseed. It cooks in 5 minutes and comes out chewy, thick, and dense it is pure perfection.
This cereal can be found in most supermarkets in the North East-Midwest or in specialty health food stores. Here is the link to Bob’s Red Mill just in case your local supermarket does not carry it: http://www.bobsredmill.com/5-grain-rolled-cereal.html . It is good for children and adults.
If you are allergic to gluten then this is not for you because wheat is the first ingredient.
