Let’s talking about teaching books for young leaners, toddlers (3-6) in particular. The book I am recommending is:
Food for Thought by Saxton Freymann
This book is part of a series using fruit and vegetables: Food Play and How Are You Peeling? The book Food for Thought is a complete teaching aid for toddlers. It teaches the ABC’s, Colors, Numbers, Shapes, Letters, and Opposites. It is a creatively put together books. The pictures are funny and very interesting because they are fruits and vegetables. I love this book because it does so. I love the food play and think it makes the idea of fruit and vegetables accessible for toddlers. This is a book everyone should have in their child’s library. It is a good teaching tool for all pre-K skills along with fruit and vegetable awareness. This is a great addition for homeschooling teaching tools.
