My name is Brittany and I am the mother of one amazing four-year-old girl.
I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marymount Manhattan College in New York and am a student in a master’s program to be a school counselor at Florida International University in Miami. Aside from being a mother, I have also worked with young children as a daycare instructor and English teacher in Paris, France.
I have spent several years living abroad in Europe, which opened me up to a whole new way of living and raising children. My husband is French and together we are a multi-cultural family that faces the challenges of differing parenting styles, child rearing approaches, and ideas of what is normal and what is acceptable behavior.
Raising our children
The parenting tips I have picked up along the way and the information I am learning on child development in school I would like to share with all new or experienced mothers. I invite you all to participate too and share your parenting advice and stories so we all can learn from each other and help our children grow to be the best most amazing children they are supposed to be and have fun along the way!
Hello, my name is Vanessa and I am a full time mom and Human Services and Early Childhood Education student. Working on two associate degrees and raising three kids is tough work. I understand what pressures us moms are facing but I am trying to do it on a seriously starved budget. I’m here to help my fellow mamas with my learned knowledge and know how. I want to have an entertaining and an enlightening discussion on how we do just this.
